Vinyl flooring is more cost effective than solid wood and more durable than laminate flooring. While laminate flooring is less expensive than vinyl, it is backed with an MDF substrate that is subject to warping when exposed to moisture. Vinyl flooring is waterproof, will not warp, cleans easier and lasts longer.
