This is a rare Chicago-area opportunity to participate in one of Iowa artist Mary Zeran’s popular workshops.
Painting to music is one of the most relaxing experiences. If you let yourself go, the music will tell you what to paint. Join artist Mary Zeran as she breaks painting techniques down into simple exercises so you can relax and just enjoy painting!
Participants will paint on Clear Dura-Lar, and feel all the unique qualities of this smooth, slick surface. What is Dura-Lar? Dura-Lar is an acid free, archival, Acetate alternative that was used in old Disney Animation Cells.
Workshop fee: $35.00, all materials and tools will be provided. Registration deadline May 28.
Ages 16 and up. Maximum 10 participants.
This workshop is offered in conjuncture with Mary’s exhibit “Spaces We Inhabit: Sculptures and Paintings by Alicia Forestall-Boehm, Emily Rutledge and Mary Zeran”.
